Unable to open a Machine Edition project and getting the following error messages:

Resolution

The project you are trying to open contains a component not installed on the machine, but was installed on the development machine used to create the project.

For example, Series 90 PLC Logic Developer State target (applies to only PME 8.00 and earlier, later versions do not support state logic developer).

If user tries to open same project on a machine that does not have LD-State installed, the above error messages will occur.

To resolve this, using the Machine Edition install disc, run setup.exe and install machine edition and then choose modify and then scroll down and choose to install the missing component. Red X indicates the component was not installed, uncheck the option to install it. Once the component is installed, then go back and open the project.
