Downloading with HMI CAB C49 download cable to QuickPanel and QuickDesigner seems to complete the download, but the QuickPanel display is blank. If I/O is not configured the screen might appear normal.

AND Using QuickDesigner to download to QuickPanel over a modem - Refer to the attached.

Resolution:

Some modern communication port hardware has power-saving capabilities, the QuickPanel may not acknowledge that the project download is complete. Unplug the download cable from the tool port connector on the QuickPanel and cycle power.

The HMI CAB C49 can be used to download to all QuickPanels. The HMI CAB C49 cable uses a TTL RS232 voltage regulating chip and should not be created by the end-user. Please contact your local distributor to purchase this cable.
