Description

CPE330 can be used as replacement for CPU320 or CRU320. However, the power requirements for each of the CPUs are different

So, it may happen the power requirements after replacing the CPU320/CRU320 by the CPE330 were higher and the Power Supply became overloaded

Solution

In order to avoid this situation, Machine Edition can be used for exploring the power requirements needs, just replacing in the HW configuration the CPU320/CRU320 by the CPE330 and checking the requirements

Open Machine Edition
Create a new project with the same Hardware Configuration (or replace CPU320/CRU320 by CPE330 in the old PME project, if available)
Select the Power Supply; click on right button and select Properties.
Inspector will show the Percent of the Total System Power used
At the same time, graphically it's shown in a small green (Supplied Power meets the system needs), yellow (Supplied Power is High but under the limit) or red icon (Supplied Power is over 100%)
