Solution 1: We have put together a simple script that attempts to reinstall the DCP driver. 64 and 32 bit versions of the batch file are attached.
Solution 2: If the above issue is not resolved after running the batch file, then additional commands are needed to resolve the issue, refer to the attached DCP DriversCleanup.pdf document.
Solution 3: If the issue is not resolved after Solution 2, download the stand alone PROFINET DCP Utility Tool and run it from existing computer or any other computer (PME not required).
Solution 4: Use a 3rd party alternative, PROFINET DCP tool 3rd party alternative.
When launching the PROFINET DCP discovery tool, the following symptom is observed - "No valid Ethernet adapters available." PME is already ran with administrative rights and the host ethernet adapters are still not found.
Solutions:

- Download the appropriate file per your Windows operating system type (64 or 32 bit), then change the extension to *.bat.
- Shut down Machine Edition.
- Run the bat file by right clicking on the file and choose 'run as administrator.
- Relaunch Machine Edition and then retest the DCP tool and verify you now see the windows host network adapters.
