View Networking works as a distributed database system. This means that the runtime variable database for a target does not have to be stored on that target computer. Instead, it can be distributed over several target computers: part of the database can be stored on the local target and part (or all) of it on another, "remote" target.

Operator may see the 64K of Remote Data Error Message in below:

 Possible Root Causes & Solutions:

1.) When Enable Networking = True in the View runtime target properties and there is no configured remote target , will result the 64K of remote data error message

Solution: Set Enable Networking = False and perform project re-download. 

2.) When Enable Networking = True in QPView , QPControl or QuickPanel+ is made as Server Target then all the tags under the project are considered for View Networking and added inside the IO Buffer for remote Data transfer. Runtime IO Buffer size is limited to 65536 bytes (64K). If tags database size are exceed 64K limitation, will result the 64K error message in the Runtime as per Windows CE limitation.


Solution: User will have consider to decrease the tag database in the project.

Start in PME 9.50 SIM 13 and up , we have introduced a warning message in the feedback zone when HMI target exceeded the 64K buffer limitation is detected
