Prerequisite:
The standalone versions of PacsAnalyzer v4.3+ requires the Microsoft redistributable package (VC2013 redistributable).
Steps to install:
1. Redistributable package(VC 2013 Redistributable Package.rar) is provided with PacsAnalyzer.
2. Unzip the file (VC 2013 Redistributable Package.rar) and install the VC 2013 Redistributable(vcredist.exe) based on the OS version.
About PACSAnalyzer:
This tool is used to collect PLC Module Information, Fault tables, and Station Manager Ethernet Data.
PacsAnalyzer is compatible with following CPUs:
- All PACSystems Controllers (RX3i and RX7i) and RX3i ENIU.
- RSTi-EP Controllers (EPSCPE100/115, EPXCPE2xx)
- Series 90-70 CPUs
- Series 90-30 CPUs, including CPU374/372
- VersaMax modular PLC and Nano/Micro (Ethernet data collection not supported)
Ethernet and Serial connections are supported. PacsAnalyzer default connection to PLC will be over Ethernet, but if user chooses to connect serially instead, module info/fault tables will only be collected. The station manager Ethernet data collection (ETM Analysis) will not be collected when the tool is executed over serial connection to the PLC CPU that supports serial connection.
To collect Ethernet station manager data serially, you must use PacStation manager tool and cable directly to the Ethernet interface station manager serial port.
Windows 7+ users - When using Pacsanalyzer on win7+ host PC's, windows firewalls may need to be disabled to collect Ethernet data correctly and/or our tools need to be added to windows firewall "allowed programs list". See attached win7 considerations document below for further details.
